We can extract data on:
Idle time
Fuel consumption
DEF consumption
Engine load (%)
Guidance usage
Ground speed
And much more!
How does this information help you?
Seeing your true machine idle time will help you realise how many clock hours and how much fuel you could be saving! On average, a tractor uses 10L/Hr of fuel. Diesel is around 70p/L currently, meaning for every idle hour, you're spending £7 on fuel, before we've looked at depreciation value of the machine at £10-£15 per clock hour!
Having a document detailing your guidance use will allow you to justify to DEFRA, SFI and CS schemes that you are utilising farming technology and investing in the right areas of your business, as well as proving to your customers that you're keeping up with precision ag developments, and reducing operator error, input and fatigue.
Analysing engine load will help you understand your horsepower needs and may save you money on your next machine! For example, if you're only utilising 25% of your engine load, you could consider a smaller horsepower tractor when it's time to trade in. Equally, if you're using 85% engine load, it could be time for an upgrade to a larger horsepower machine, which will operate at lower fuel consumption and load, saving you on repair bills in the future!
We will create visuals of how your chosen data point looks, allowing you to see the best and worst across your fleet, highlighting where cost-saving improvements could be made.
We can then compare your fleet data to several of our partner's fleet data for an extra cost (see pricing page) and present this in an easy to read and understand format. This will help you to see how other farming businesses of similar utilisation and scale are operating, and whether you can improve in certain areas to save cost and increase efficiency.
Finally, we will breakdown what your data is actually showing in a clear way, and what this means to you in terms of costs and efficiency. We will highlight key areas that we feel could be improved on.
Not only do we break it down, we'll then suggest a realistic, achievable change to your business operation that will boost efficiency and reduce costs, with a model that shows how to achieve this and why.
Where it may be beneficial, we can visit a location convenient to you and deliver your presentation to drivers, farmers, shareholders, and directors on what your data means in the real world, how it compares to similar tractor fleet users, and how to implement cost saving and productivity increases.
